Are you interested in collecting and/or shooting replica air guns? Are you bored with lightweight reviews written by people who are trying to sell you something? Do you want information that’s a little more in-depth than the average video review? Then you’re in the right place!
I formerly ran a site called the Pistol Place which had hundreds of articles on all aspects of the hobby of collecting and shooting replica air guns. For technical reasons that I won’t bore you with here, that site is no longer available. I didn’t want to lose the material on that site so I decided to start the World of Replica Air Pistols. Here you’ll find objective, unbiased reviews of current replicas and classics as well as technical “how to” articles, articles on air pistol shooting technique and lots of other stuff. This site covers all types of replica air pistol including spring pistols as well as gas and CO2 powered versions shooting both BBs and pellets.
Over the next weeks and months I’ll be adding here the content that used to be on the Pistol Place as well as posting new articles, so do check back regularly to see what’s changed. If there is something you particularly want to see here, or if you have any other comment about the site, let me know using the “Contact” form. If you are willing to contribute an article yourself, please let me know about that too, I’d be delighted to hear from you.
I hope you enjoy the new site.
Thanks to Adrian for the image of the Umarex Colt SAA used as the header for this article. Adrian writes reviews and articles which you’ll be able to read here in the World of Replica Air Pistols in addition to acting as a moderator for the Umarex Boys Club Forums (the playing cards in the picture come from the PIPAS competition, one of the many competitions hosted by the UBC).
